Merry Christmas!

For Christmas this year, all of my siblings came home. It was really fun. We went to the movies, played dodgeball, and ate lots of delicious food (thanks mom!).
On Christmas Eve we played basketball at the park, boys against girls. I jammed my finger really bad, but the girls still won. Later my finger swelled up to twice its normal size and I got bruises on my finger and hand. It was really nasty. I will spare you all a gruesome picture of it. Don't worry though, my finger did not inhibit my ability to have fun; I still had an amazing Christmas! Hope all of your Christmases were as great as mine! :)

This has been a wonderful summer, but like all wonderful things, it must eventually end. So today I started my Junior year of high school. After getting over my end of summer blues, the day turned out okay, but the real test will be tomorrow...

High Adventure (Part 2)

After being tired and sore from Half Dome (we didn't get to our camp till 2 am) we got to go white water rafting. Highlights from the trip include:

Tunnel Chute ( a level 4 or 5 rapid)
Jumping into the cold water
Spending time with friends

High Adventure (Part 1)

I have always been jealous of the boys in my ward who get to go on High Adventure. They always do super exciting things. Last weekend I got my chance to go do these fun things with the boys. After our previously planned trip to Havasupi got canceled, We got to hike Half Dome in Yosemite.The hike was over 16 miles total.

Along the way, we saw waterfalls,
400 foot cables,
and lots of wildlife (there were groundhogs living at the top of the dome, and bears at the base of the trail)!
But I finally made it to the top,
Every Young Woman made it to the top!!!! Aren't we amazing?!?!
Just to give you an idea of how hard and how high it was, this is the view from the top.

The hike took us 12 hours total. It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my entire life, but it was worth every mile!

I went to Especially for Youth in July. It was AWESOME!!! I loved it! I got to go to lots of classes and devotionals, as well as dances. I made some great new friends too. Here are a few pics:

Girls Camp

Last week, I got to go to Girls Camp. This year I was a YCL. It was so much fun!!! I got to hang out with friends...

Sick

On Sunday, Seth was sick. On Tuesday, I was sick. On Wednesday, my mom and Callie were sick. On Thursday, Callie was still sick. But on Friday, SUMMER STARTED!!!!

Sweet 16!!!

On February 12, I turned 16. It was an awesome Birthday. My Grandparents came out for the weekend, so that was great. After school I opened presents and I got a wonderful book full of questions that other people answered about me. I loved it!!! Later I got to go see the movie Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. It was AMAZING! I had been looking forward to it for months so I was so happy that the day it came out also happened to be my Birthday! The movie was not exactly like the book, but it was So worth seeing!!! All in all I had a Super Sweet 16!

Christmas

I know it's January, but I never got to blog about my awesome Christmas. This year I got everything I wanted plus more!!! We even got a Wii and all of the seasons of Smallville! I would definitely say this was a great Christmas! :)

Thanksgiving

I love Thanksgiving. It has some of my favorite things: no school, family, and FOOD! I had so much fun hanging out with friends and family. I even got to go to Six Flags with all of my siblings! I can't wait to see what we do next year!

Wisdom Teeth

Just before Thanksgiving, the dentist told me I needed to get my wisdom teeth pulled, so despite my dread to have it done, I had them pulled. Luckily, I was fine on the anesthesia and didn't do anything really weird. After throwing up and fainting a couple of times, the recover wasn't too bad (although I was craving hard food be the end of the first day). :)

Thriller!

Last night I got to do the Thriller dance with the Beehives at my ward Halloween Party. It was so much fun! All day at school I was telling people how excited I was. Even though I had just learned the dance on Wednesday, I did not mess up any of the moves. I had forgotten how much I love to dance. Unfortunately though, I forgot my camera, so I don't have any pictures of the dance. :(

I finally got it! I don't remember ever being so worried in my entire life. I thought I was going to fail my written test, but I passed. I only missed 2 out of 46! I can now drive, so everyone look out on the road!

Bass Lake

Last week I got to go on the best vacation ever! I got to go back to Bass Lake with my Aunt Cheryl's family and with Courtney, Daniel, and their friend, Alan. It was so much fun!!!

Fooseball was also very popular at the cabin. Seth was the all time champion.

Girls' Camp

This past week I got to go to Girl's Camp on the beach! It was so much fun. I got to go hiking, surfing, and relax on the beach. I even got to squeeze into a shower with 6 other girls at one time! Here is a picture of Karly Osborne, Brooke Lindal, and me!

I loved being able to go to camp with my little sister. It was her first time and I think she loved it!

School is finally out and I am ready to have some fun! This past weekend my Aunt Cheryl's family and my grandparents came to visit for Seth's graduation. We had a ton of fun.

My cousin Addi and I had lots of fun playing dress-up everyday.

Callie, Brayden and I got in plenty of time to play Nintendo 64.

We even got to have an early birthday party for Seth and Cambrie!

All in all the weekend was a sucess! It was a great way for me to start my summer and I can't wait till we do it again!

One day I was minding my own business, being a good girl, when my mom decided we were behind on our shots! I haven't gotten a shot for 10 years! Naturally I was scared but put on a brave face for the sake of my brother and sister. I thought I would have to get around 6 shots, but the nurse said that even though I was behind on my shots, I would only have to get 1. The shot hurt. :( My mom felt bad so she got us all ice cream. Now I feel all better! :)Unfortunately, my week is just begining...tomorrow I have another adventure at the Dentist.

American Idol

My family got tickets to see the Wednesday night result show of American Idol. My mom, dad, and best friend Karly all went. It was super fun! We even got to hear Kanye West and Kelly Clarkson and we got to stand right in front of the stage!!!

I have been fortunate enough to have Karly as my friend since I was 6 months old. Over the years, it has been interesting to see how much we have grown up... This was when I was 10. As you can see, it is not a very good picture of me, but Karly looks cute.

For my 15th birthday party my friends and I went down to San Diego to play Laser Tag. It was tons of fun even though our team didn't win any games. Although we didn't win, I got the 7th best score out of 34!

So everyone has been telling me to get a blog for weeks. So I have finally caved. Happy Valentine's Day everyone. This first blog entry is just for you. It's to let you know how much I love you. Here are some of the other things I love besides you:
